today we are working on our tsx (torotnto stock exchange) we are working on our stocks and making the final changes if we had too. we are presenting a powerpoint presentation it could be as many slides as it can be as long as you can describe what methods you used to do and what things did you use that the teacher recomneded to use

today we are working on our brochures that we are suppose to do to finish the our major project. it is due ont thursday may 31.

Today we were talking about business letters and how to make a proper one because then if you can't write properly then the person you're writing it too will think that if you can;t handle a normal thing such writing a business letter the he might just say nno to what ever your selling and he won't buy it

today we are working on making business card and a head letter.
To make a business cards you go to microsoft word and then you go to tools, labels and envelopes and then you go to options and choose form the four business cards and then click ok and then new document.
For the letter head, its a title or heading that will always stay on the top of the page that is always there when you want to write a letter or something that is sent to someone showing that its from your company.

today we are working on our stocks and major projects. last class we were talking about how to register a name for your store and to make a website for your store at www.webnames.ca. and then you will have to hand it in by now already. my business is going to be yard care so basicaly im going to help people do take care of their back yard like raking it and watering the plants and making soils and such

today we were just making things sure and handed in on time so that we dont get fallen back behind by now we should've handed in:

1. Business Idea
2. Rough Budget
3. Business Name
4. Domain Search
5. Bus Registration and Vendor Permit

today we are doing our first part of our project. which is to find out the steps you will have to go through to start you pwn busines.

• to start your business you will have to start with registering your business name. you can pick to register your business by mail which costs 80$ or you can register your business online which costs 60$, and the registration is valid for 5 years only and then you will have to register again. and fcourse you will have to register a name that hasnt been in use form before because then it will be a franchize. if you cannot find a name there is a centre that can look one for you. its called Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC). the cost for a name is search is $12.
• the second stage for starting your small business is the taxes (income taxes). when you open you business you should be able to pay your tasex by income to the federal and the provincial governments.
• the third stage to start your own businees is to have a payrol deduction for you employees when you hire them for both federal and provincial. your suppose to get a payroll accounty with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
• you are suppose to get a license. the license that you will get will allow you operate or work with whatever yo want in you store or location.
• then you get a something called zonig which means that you will have to tell the authoriies where your store or little business is located in. so that it wont be an illegal business.
• the most important thing that you have to do in starting a business is getting insurance so that if something happens to your business the government can cover for the charges. There are alot of insurances that you will have to choose from so in order to pick the right one, you will have to pick the one for what ever business you're doing.
• another thing you wil have to go and do is renting or buying permises or spaces. in order for you to buy/ rent you will have to go through those processes:
  1.the kind of space you're looking for
  2.the location—its proximity to potential customers and clients, and the zoning for your type of business
  3.availability of parking
  4.supplier access
  5.security
  6.the cost to purchase, if you're going that route
  7.the amount of rent you're able to pay and whether it includes utilities and services
  8.the amount you're willing to pay for improvements, if necessary.

depending on your type of business its better of starting by sharing spaces with other stores, then later on you can just go and buy a space or rent.

• another thing to do is hiring employees. for this type of business you will not need employees.

tToday we started our summatives, which is the major project of grade nine that every person gets. For this course you will have to make a small business that will work and will not have bankruptcy and stuff like that, and you also have to be able to use or work it on over the summer. Our project is due by the end of the month and in order to get a level 4 you will have to use all or most of the programs that we took over the year such photo shop, macromedia, Microsoft office and flash if we had to or chose too. Mr. Case is giving us the project in stages so it can be easier for us; the first step is that we have to figure out an idea.

today we wont be able to recieve our new project until the end of the month and then we would probably start working on it. some people are working on the wiki today and thats like part of our final mark that we are supposed to do in order not fail the course and im not really doing that so im going to start today

today we were handing in our projects which are our website design so we can present them in the overhead. we were either dropping it off the drop off folder or at the internet so that anyone can have access to it.
But i couldn't do that because i had pictures of people in there and i had to get permision in order for me to post it on the internet

the past days we had a test on html and macromedia and we also had to work on our projects like our webpage design and to work on our pictures of the teachers for and how to make them look better or just change the picture.
after that we had a four day holiday and it was fun but then when i came to work on the computer my computer broke down andit couldn't work no more.
And today we were learning how to make do the final stage for uploading our wensite on the internet.
so what we had to do is when you go to edit or define your website you have to click anf choose ftp in order for it to work. and so you dot get confused you will have to name your website after your name so it will be easy to go and access to it.
after you are done that you will click the connect button and it will connect it to the internet after that you will click the split page to see your files and and the files on the website that mr. case had made up and then you will just drag it to the other side on where the website is and then you will have access to it but you have to be carful not to drag it to any of the folders because then it will get lost. any way happy late easter mr case

last time we were learning about ftp ( file transfer protocol) and that means the ability to send files back and forth without having problems. and we also learning how the advantages and the disadvantages of it.

last day we recieved a project on photoshop editing and that was we were suppose to use a picture from the btt folder and make it like

Today we were learning about web design. Web design is when you make your own website and create things and/or add things to it. We learnt how to make a heading like google and also how to insert a picture in it. Another thing we learnt is that, if you want to add another webpage you also should have a button that you can click so it can link you to the other page, again like google.

today we are doing photoshop and we were learning how edit pictures and make them look like a professional picture by using the tools in there and also by making them look old and brand new or by making look good and brand new or as if it was taken by a expensive cameras

today we were leaning about hexadecimal and how its sperates the colour from each other. its on almost every electronic device. the colour red, green, blue, are the major colours for and colour in the world. and then the secondary colours comes the cyan magenta and yellow. these things that we are doing right now are going to lead us to photo shop editing.

today we were learning about how people are buying stuff illegal on internet or watching stuff that are not paid for and how the canadian ministers are always making new laws all about the computers and how you shouldnt download illegal music and movies. Especially software. if you download an illegal software that cops will come and take you to jail even probably you kill you.

today we are workung on excel and how to use it. today we were suppose to bring our report cards so we can use it to make out our percentage for this term and to check whether how our marks that you want them to be and you can add marks to check how low or high your percentage or how you want them to improve and stuff. we also did this thing on how you can make a calender of the week and also if you wanted to print it out you can highlight the work you've done and so the when your print it, it just shows the lines that are on the page on the computer. and the last thing we learned was that when you are printing the page or your calender. you can choose portrait or landscape style which is to say wide paged or lenthwise style.
